Trivia Sprint is a fast multiple-choice quiz for 1 to 30 players. Everyone sees the same question at the same time and taps an answer. Get it right and you score — and the faster you answered, the more you score. The last three questions are worth double, so nobody is out of it until the end.
It's the biggest-group game on FamGames, which makes it a natural fit for classrooms, office socials and large family get-togethers. It is part of FamGames Pro.
What you need
One to thirty players, each with their own device. In one-phone mode, the phone is passed round for every question.
Rules: how a round works
- Read the question. Everyone gets the same multiple-choice question.
- Lock it in. Tap your answer. You can't change it, so be sure before you tap.
- Speed matters. The quicker your correct answer, the more points it earns.
- Final sprint. The last three questions are worth double points.
Scoring
A correct answer earns 500 points plus up to 500 more for speed. Three or more correct answers in a row add a streak bonus. Wrong answers score nothing, however fast.
Difficulty levels
- Easy: More time to answer each question.
- Normal: 15 seconds per question.
- Hard: Very little time, but every correct answer is worth 25% more.
Tips and strategy
Read every option
A fast wrong answer scores zero. Taking an extra second to read all four options usually pays for itself.
Eliminate first
If you don't know, rule out the obviously wrong options and pick between what's left.
Protect your streak
The streak bonus rewards consistency. In the middle of a streak, accuracy is worth more than speed.
Save energy for the end
Double-points questions can swing the whole game, so stay focused for the final three.
Variations and house rules
- Team trivia: pair younger players with adults and play as teams sharing one device.
- Handicap (house rule): the leader has to wait until a count of three before answering.
